An Autumnal Chill is in the Air.

We finally made our annual trek to Half Moon Bay for our pumpkins.

A full-bladdered pregnant lady, a car-sick uncle in the back seat, a Dad driver who kept questioning if this is really a tradition or if I'm just making it up, a 2 year-old cheerfully yelling,
"Pumpkin patch...Where are you???"
& an hour & a half later
...thank you traffic...
we arrived.

OH HOW I LOVE FALL!

I would wheel Avy around in a wheelbarrow for fun!

Love-love-love HMB! It's worth the long, windy, trafficy, barfy ride!

Oh, how fun it would be to bring your husband to Half Moon Bay! I am glad you had a great time. I love the pictures.

We opted out of that this year. It's a fun thing to do, though. But yes, the traffic is CRAZY!!! We usually leave early in the morning.

we actually didn't take 92. when we were about to get on 92, we saw the traffic & thought that would make for a REALLY fun day. so we went up through so. san fran/pacifica & all the way around. it obviously took a while, but it wasn't as bad as sitting in stand-still traffic for the same amount of time. it was worth it...i love HMB!

As a side note, we were only about 3 miles away from our traditional pumpkin patch when Tatty flipped the car around and took off a good 20 miles out of the way. Sure we were moving but when you are in the back seat with tinted windows that's not always a good thing.

I kind of wish I would have known how close it was and I would have walked and let them take their shortcut. It would have been great to have beat them there!
